The quiet village of Dresden is situated approximately halfway between Geneva and Watkins Glen just off Route 14, on Seneca Lake's western shore. The village has a public beach, the Ingersoll Museum, and is the eastern terminus of the Outlet Trail, a gentle scenic hike from Penn Yan.
